Brownsville Mooring LLC, established by the late Ricardo “Rick” Gomez, a dedicated Naval veteran and experienced longshoreman, embodies a legacy of hard work and commitment.
Together with his older brother, Tomas, they worked the docks, efficiently managing the shipping and receiving of various commodities for ILA Local 1544. The foundation of their business is rooted in the values instilled by their father, Ricardo, rightly nicknamed “La Fibra,” who also served as a longshoreman after his service in the United States Army during WWII.
In the late 1990s, Rick seized the opportunity to expand into line-handling services, which quickly evolved into the leading mooring operation at the Port of Brownsville.
Over the past 27 years, we have established ourselves as the foremost line handling operation in the area, driven by our unwavering commitment to exceptional customer service.
